Executive Chef Aaron Dawson

Originating from Batavia, NY, Executive Sous Chef Aaron Dawson moved to Tennessee in 1994 and began working at The General Morgan Inn. Under the guidance of then Brumley’s Food & Beverage Director David Babey, Dawson was encouraged to pursue a degree in culinary arts from Walter’s State. Today, widely respected for his signature artistic presentation, Chef Dawson relies on the fundamental principles of three dimensional plating and garnishing techniques, skills he learned from former Brumley’s Chef, Joel Jerkins. Dining at Brumley’s is about the experience, Chef Dawson explains, “A guest should be able to anticipate how a dish is going to taste simply by its presentation.”
